As Dale mentioned, the fluid is HIGHLY corrosive. I have had a couple of NOS 32 and 34 gages in their boxes that are junk. Probably from left over fluid from calibration. Boxes were toast too....

Rusty, You don't mention the tank unit. You should take it out and make sure it is cleaned completely, make sure all tubes and holes are clear. This tank unit also is the vent to your fuel system . ...
