Sooooo Has any one here run A stock cam. and stock heads with a 276 In. engine. If so, what was the drivability and running temperature Like for a street driven vehicle.

Bolting an 8 BA (1949 and later) engine to a 46 Transmission... Which is the Preferred bell housing ?? The stamped steel or the Cast housing. Is one just as good as the other. Thanks for any advice...

Thank you Bruce: I have all the "Stuff" will use the 8BA type rods and do have the oil seal holder. I hope to have this engine in My 46 Ford Coupe this spring. Thanks again David
