Well I found a old no good drum/hub to get 2 snap rings and it was a test of my patience but I did it !!! Thanks Guys

Did all 1940-48 rear drums have a snap ring ? I am replacing a rear drum that does not have a snap, is it just missing ?

I had the same problem so I just took the starter out and it turn out it was the starter drive. Put in another one in and been ok since (4 months)

what is the .600 measurement for ? Where I ream out the studs could you tell me the shoulder and bolt size also the length I need. I can not seem to get those measurements for me to buy. Thanks Moe
