I'm using the Speedway kit, and ready to slide it in. The new TOB is the same as the original (has a place to hook the small spring) but there is no provision on the bell housing to hook the spring....

Don't laugh, oven cleaner is the best. It will harm paint and alum. if you lave it on to long. Try it on an old tire first because I know you guy's don't believe me.

I'm having trouble putting the front spring back on my 40 pickup. I'm using new shackles 1 1/2" long like the one's that came off. It's about an inch short of making it. Any ideas?
