Worth the $595 of new gears. It is most likely a break even or a monetary loss. It is a lot of fun and rewarding.

If you check the vehicle serial number stamped above the clutch inspection cover it should tell you if the case is 39. I believe some of the early 39 had the slightly earlier gear set. I cant tell...

Yes Max. If you want to keep patina let him know in a note with the Carb. core otherwise It will look new after rebuild.

40-8115 is correct for many 85HP and for many years but the 922A and C with the 60HP of 38-39 calls for 48-8115

lever is bent and up side down the cap is upside down also. First photo below is throttle plates closed. Second and third with throttle plates open.Straighten lever with pliers but go easy.

The BB prefix on the serial number indicates the truck came with the 4 speed from the factory.

38 coupe is correct your pick up could have the 4 speed. Usually the vehicle serial number will reflect this. I believe your carburetor is the Holley or Ford style 94. It should be model 91-99 The...

3 speed transmission is original. How about a couple photos of the engine. Original carburetors are sensitive to fuel pressure 2 to 2.5 many electric fuel pumps are much higher in pressure.
