The breather tube is aftermarket Model A I believe, and the double heat switch would be from a bus I would guess. Nice looking pull loopy things if we knew what they were for

my opinion of coarse, but I like the look of the aftermarket sealed beam on those cars. I drive my cars, some times at night and the sealed beam is a wonderful thing for night driving after dark

Use the "Bosch blue" coil for VW's its the correct OHM's rite outta the box , no resistor needed.

There is a thread here about using relays to power the original switch, sorry I dont have it bookmarked. I use a relay in my 34, and have it wired so that when you turn on the ignition, it grounds...

And, I'm sure Ol' Ron probably knows this, but anytime you replace studs check your lug nuts often as they can loosen up if a stud is not seated all the way down

Not usually one to complain, but we have conflicting info here. So, 40 only, breaths out the intake, all others out the hole in the block, correct? Also, wasn't there something about 40 cranks...
