Yes, I thought about that. I want to eliminate the cable as a source and then if I still have a problem, I know it is the starter motor. Thanks for all the help

Feedback I decided to take off the cable from solenoid to starter and recheck the terminals. Wire brushed both ends and the terminals. Put it back on and car started. Porblem solved right? ...

Battery test was done at O Reilly and feedback was "Meets OEM Spec.

Another piece of info--When I was trying to start it yesterday, it was turning over fine and suddenly just stopped like it was...

Back again with another issue. My 40 ford won't turn over, behaves like a Dead Battery, but had battery tested and found good. When I push starter button I hear a click at the solenoid...

Thanks Kube, The carb does have a 94 on the back, but no place to attach the throttle arm on left side of carb A pic of the correct hook up would be great

How much and often do I put oil in my 1940 Ford distributor. Small opening on right side of distributor with a little door.

Just found 1934 5 window in all original condition. Runs and drives great, but needs floor cover for battery compartment. Appreciate any advice/help
