New rebuilt Zenith-2 and the GAV is very tight and hard to turn. It acts like it's dry and chatters when you try to open or close it.
Any ideas or can this be adjusted?

I'm confused by some things on our car. It's a 31 S/W, but the window tops look like a Murray. But the tag on the firewall says Briggs.

Well I borrowed another carburetor from a club member and the problem went away. So we're going to go back and double check my carburetor again.
