Heres the story that aired on the news last night, this really is a shame and I hope all your help pays off with the recovery. AR model A(s) have unique things about them, no door handles exterior...

There are 2 different styles, dependent on 28-29, 30-31 and where the chassis was assembled or so I have been told. I prefer the earlier style that have a heavy cast mounting area to the backing...

Could the coil wire be screwwed into the distributor body too far? I did this once and my coupe had the same issues as your describing. Took about 20 minutes to figure out.-Weeks
