We have an alignment shop near us that also does body work. I'd never...

Re: Burtz engine

A new casting of a 59AB Ford flathead block would sell like hotcakes too:):)

There are thousands of bad Ford Flatheads that are suffering cracked blocks.

Re: The price of a Model A Ford

Naw you'd be surprised at the number of young people who like Model A's. There are a lot more than you think.

If you go to a Mustang meet yeah there are plenty of younger folks there but again...

Re: Skinned Knuckles magazine

That happened to me a while back on a Mustang magazine I used to get. I had just renewed and they were gone in a flash.

Re: Burtz engine

Hopefully they can fill Mr. Burtz' engine orders. Not looking very good at this point for that to happen.

Re: The price of a Model A Ford

Kawa it's funny you mentioned model cars.

In the early 60's when we were kids we ooo'ed and aww'ed over the latest model cars from Revel, AMT, and such that you could buy at the dime store. We...

Re: Hershey Wednesday

Are you comparing Hershey to Woodstock, '69??

My brother used to say 'If you remember Woodstock, you weren't there' :):) Of course HE wasn't there either.

:p:p:p:p

Eccentric Old Guy this is a tough question, there aren't any simple answers.

About the time you think this hobby is toast interest resurges and a-way we go as Ralph Cramden (Jackie...

Re: 1936 Pickup bed floor question

That explains why I'm seeing so many wooden floors on '35-'36 Ford pickups in place of the original Sheet metal.

I like the looks of original far better than the wood.

Re: Hershey.... Good Information

Wick I won't be there but I was just curious.

Do you have to pay Pennsylvania State Sales tax on stuff you buy? What is their percentage?

Re: visit to Carlisle yesterday.......

That's a shame all of those costs. Yes where is it headed? And they are kicking about the idea of taxing us per mile driven on top of everything else. If that ever happens that will really kill...

Re: Roadster or Coupe?

Yeah, you be right on dat, you have a good point! I could unload the Roadster and go back to a Tudor, but I DO love the looks of the darn thing. They are still sought after by street rodders. And...

Re: Roadster or Coupe?

What Jim is saying is spot-on.

A Tudor is safe with small children, they won't fall out of it.

At well over 6 feet tall that car was never a problem for me popping in and out of. Now we have...

And it didn't need to be that way. It was all by design. Planned to happen this way.

Re: optima battery prices............

Scotty Kilmer the YouTube mechanic had a video on this in 2019 about Optima batteries and he said their quality now is garbage, since they sent production to Mexico, and in his opinion today they...
