Re: Wrecking yard-101

The man I worked for was very grumpy, he had open the yard (about 25 acres) from the early 1920s till the 1970s. A guy found a...

Re: Transmission Rebuild about to begin

Re: Garage lifts
Before I moved up-here in Colorado, I had a "Lift" put in on my old place. Yes ,it could hoist a much bigger car or truck then an "A", but it was used and from a closed gas station and total cost...

Re: Driving in rain and snow..
Living in the mountains, we do get some bad weather. I find it comes down to two things for me on Ice and Snow. The right kind of tires is number one with me, I find traction tires on the rear (mud...

Re: 16" tires
I run 16s on my truck, but a 21" is in the well. My 6.00 x 16 spare is a bit wide for it to fit.

Re: Need Advice badly
Not to highjack this, but to address a few things
I would agree with you on this, but for a few reasons:
Reason one, the motor was done by a well known re-builder, who would not even call me back....

Re: high boy air cleaner
I use one on my '29 CCPU and like it fine, plus there is an opening in the bottom for any gas drips. I hope you make one.

Re: Need Advice badly
I had a problem like this come in to my shop, a fresh re-build also, pulled the head and found the Head Gasket did not have all the water passages punched totally out. They where 3/4 through, but not...

Re: Superstitions
I just got a P.M. saying I sounded like I thought EVERY Model "A" should do a Cow Bell. NO, I never said that! I just feel we as owners can pass these old tales on if we want. How, is totally up to...

Re: Superstitions
