Can't remember how they came off or if it even matters, but should it be bolt, washer, clamshell, nut or bolt,clamshell, washer, nut? Thanks.

If you're using juice drum and backing plates on your A axles you need to clearance them both. Dennis Cling has a wonderful how-to packet that explains it all.

I'll measure up those keys. If the new keys are as good as it gets and I use Tom's advice, could I use a drop of Loctite to keep the key from riding up the keyway?
