Driver Comfort...

Any roadster with side mounts is difficult to enter & exit, more so as we get older.

Coupe, Tudor, Fordor, much easier....... with out side mounts as well.

Yes Rusty, you found it.

Most owners loath waxing their car and it shows. Even freshly washed, unwaxed paint can be dull & 'gray'. Mequiar's is the perfect cleaner wax to restore a paint's clarity...

The photo of the '34 Roadster has a third, center strap pulling straight. Better insurance.

I have a forty year collection of 'pre-cleaners', glazes, & waxes......nothing works better & easier than Mequiar's Cleaner Wax in the maroon plastic bottle.

Certain paints & certain colors...

Crossing the straps is effective only when both straps create tension to hold the load in place. If one strap become loose, the other becomes unless as well.

Consider the Town Car production from the point of view of Briggs. Ford's order was small (based on Brigg's capacity) and production was done in batches over four months. Fastest & easiest...

Yes "lacquer paint will crack after a few years" if you pile on excessive coats without adequate dry time in between.

No different than urethane, you need to know what you are doing.
