Which Rear?

What would be the best option for rear end in my 47' Ford Bus.Coupe?
It has a stock Banjo now. I believe it's 354 gear. stock 3 speed manual tranny.
Want a better cruising ratio. Gonna go with...

Just wondering. Has anyone used the Alumn. Radiators like Champion, or AlloyWorks? I need to have my Rad. repaired if it can be. My 47' B/Coupe still has the Flatty V8 in it. Bung for the draincock...

front disc brake conversion

Wanting to put frt. disc brakes on my 47 coupe. Any suggestions to which kit and master cylinder bracket to use? I still have the stock three speed trans. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for all the help. It starts right up when cold. I do run an electric F/P. I Energize it when it has been run, but does not seem too help. If I hold it to the floor it starts and runs fine...

I know this has been asked probably 100's of time. Is there a cure for this problem. I have a59ab in my 47 with two stromberg 97's. Very hard to start after it has been run. Thanks in advance.

Don't have a pic of the hub. It does have the original banjo rear end under it. The axle end is about 3" long. Which prevents the hub cap from seating in the center. Thanks Bill. I will try.

I took the carb off and checked the base. It does have throttle plates. the throttle connector on the drivers side just spins on the shaft. that is why I thought it did'nt have any. My bad sorry for...

Vincent, I wish I knew enough to answer your questions. I am not very familiar with the 97's. I had Holley's on my fifty. I think Terry,OH answered my situation. The car runs fine under acceleration....

No, not kidding. I thought to myself "how does it even run"? I used some rubber hose and got the mixture set. Pulling 16" of vacuum at idle. I thought that was in limits considering the cam. Still...

Great looking car! Same color as mine. I used the Aerostar coils to drop mine 2.5" in the front. You will be real happy with it I'm sure. Drive it and enjoy it! Merry Christmas!
