You must be buying at the wrong place. I bought a new F150 Supercab, 5 months ago, with 4WD,XLT, with Custom Chrome package, Heated sets, camera, Electric windows, seats, etc, etc, and paid less than...

The last time I got recore from Bert's it was a FOUR Tube, and the tubes were properly staggered. that makes a difference.:p

I agree, I turn the engine over and pull the choke, immedialtely pushing it back in. Starts every time even in single digit weather.

A little tip that many know but not all. Sharpen your timing bolt to a dull point, instead of the rounded. This can be accomplished by chucking it in a drill and grinding, ( a drill press is best.)...

I am moving and building a new shop. I found the best and most expensive solution but wouldn't do it any other way. Buy the wife a new washer and dryer. Then hook the old one up in the shop.

And adding to what Steve said, we recently took 15 model A's on tour, climbing 7 to 10 % grades. Not a problem in the group.

I rebuilt mine last fall, replacing only the sector not the worm. I did have to replace the housing as someone had done in incorrect boring job to install needle bearings. Bert's had a nice original...

LB is not infallible, when I bought their interior kit last winter the seat cushion was way too big. But they figured out the problem and sent a replacement quickly.

I think the seats look great, and a family job is the most fun. What no one else noticed is how nicely the top panel of the seats balances with the GREAT LOOKING WHITEWALLS!!!

For someone that claims to be knowledgeable in the trade, that is a pretty ignorant statement. I and many others have them and they work well.
