Re: High Compression Head Review

Jim
They are both good but I think you are going to like your new 5.5 head.....the hill climbing ability is impressive over stock. For me it was a conservative decision because I do not have insert...

Re: High Compression Head Review

As for the Model B cam and set-up I am not sure if I...

Re: High Compression Head Review

Thanks. I found my top end to be the exact same as well at 65 but the hill climbing is a huge improvement from from the stock 4.2 to 1 head.

I think the 6 to 1 head is very good as well and I...

Re: High Compression Head Review

This is exactly the reason I am getting the Mitchell. It is shipping this week and I feel the 5.5 Head will compliment it quite nicely. I just hope my limited Model A experience will allow me to...

Re: High Compression Head Review

I am happy for you as well. The most important thing is to do what you feel is right for your car and being happy with your decisions. Last time I checked this was still a free country but that is...

Re: High Compression Head Review

I agree with your statement however some people do not like the old saying of "To Each Their Own".

Some people like "My way or the Highway", if you do not like it your wrong lol

No offense taken at all as I was expecting your comments to come. I simply took the advise to drive my car and experience the cars that different people have prior to making a decision. With...

Re: High Compression Head Review

Funny you say that. On my first drive to a car show last Saturday with the 5.5 Head I used less spark and the car started to boil over a little. I went back to half spark advance and the problem...

High Compression Head Review

Well I took everyone's advise and drove my car along with as many Model A's that I could to help decide on what High Compression Head to get.

First off the most performance I had the opportunity...
