I understand now but I watched a Shinn video and he was adjusting them on a work bench. He was not using this tool.

Pressure Plate Fingers

I removed engine to install Mitchell transmission and am examining pressure plate to adjust fingers. I bought a tool to do this but my fingers see to be way off or I am using this tool incorrectly....

I have a late model 31 coupe with indented firewall. I installed the 31 fuel filter kit from Snyders and installed it with pill magnet in bottom of Wix filter. So far it is working fine.

I have FSI distributor for the last year and it has been trouble free. Shawn at FSI is great to deal with and get advice. I highly recommend them.

I am considering hydraulic brakes but this discussion complicates my decision since there seems to be many problems. If you purchase the Boling brake conversion kit, does it have these problems too.

FSI ignitions of Oklahoma makes an electronic distributor with centrifugal advance and no points for both 6v and 12v. I use one without any problems.

I installed the disconnect switch that vendors sell that mounts to the starter so with this device, the positive wire is used. I have a 12v negative ground vehicle.

I had a problem with the ammeter and had a club member direct me to an auto parts store to get a voltmeter. I installed it and it fit perfectly in the dash as the photos show

I belong to the Ft. Worth club and members have helped me tremendously. They have redone my brakes and now I am assembling their work but I am learning all I can from this forum.
