The poster with the specifications says coupe body and handbuilt 2x4 frame. I do not know the people who did it, but saw at a show and thought enough of it to take pics.

This is a custom build with a longer than stock frame. Not what you are looking for but thought you might like to see.

A clutch type fan and shroud from an A/C car can help too after the cleanout. Also it will quieten car down at speed and not look as out of place as an electric fan.

I'm confused about post #43 and #44. Did the question of "rear" backing plates refer to brakes on the rear axle, or, refer to the backing plate on the front axle? I've heard several people refer to...

I think the confusion is coming from 2 different F100 brake systems being discussed here. Some people are describing the 1950s pickup DRUM brake system that was a popular hot-rod upgrade long ago...

Also, a Deluxe will always have 2 wipers, and a Standard can have 1 or 2.

Also, the firewall/battery area on a Deluxe looks more like a 39 if i remember correctly, and the Standard looks more like a 37. The stainless side trim on doors, quarters, etc is in a different...

I have a Std coupe. I'm pretty sure the firewall is set up differently at least in the battery area. If you need pictures let me know.

Great truck! Even that in just a 2wd is awesome! Can you give us details about the hit and miss engine? And were you able to change over the underdrive unit to overdrive?
