In my hometwown of Lancaster Ohio the Ford dealer was Fred Beasley of Beasley Motors. My 1946 Ford I bought in 1971 from original owner still had the Beasley Ford license plate frame on it from new....

I think this is pretty much what I have been thinking also.I have a good but worn engine that has never had a rebuild in its 90 years but the engine in question is close to me and already rebabbited.

It is a Stromberg 97 but one of the new ones .I bought it years ago from Uncle Max.I don't know if he is still on Fordbarn.I would say it has run good for 12 years or so.Time sure flies.
