Re: The Future of Our Vintage Fords?

Re: Starting an engine after almost 40 years

Maybe the reason ours don't run, is that they have too many things hooked up to them: fans, water pumps, generator, transmission.

Re: The Future of Our Vintage Fords?

The Future of Our Vintage Fords? The only ones that can answer that, are the kids you are leaving them too.

Re: The Future of Our Vintage Fords?

Remember, we grew up in the 50's, so we know what normal is.

How is that design for the electric plane coming?

Re: Starting an engine after almost 40 years

I loved the video. It never ceases to amaze me, as to how little it takes to get one of these running. So the next time you are looking at your pristine engine and thinking of giving up, the engine...

Re: So I couldn't find a set of stainless steel vent window frames

Just offering another option, that is as bit more cost sensitive, than having everything re-chromed. If you have the money and time to have the parts re-chromed, I fully recommend it. But if you...

Re: So I couldn't find a set of stainless steel vent window frames

Now about those 52'-53' Mercury taillight lens holders. You can salvage those pot-metal taillight lens holders. You can do them yourself in a day or two for minimal cost. You will need a drill, pad,...

Re: So I couldn't find a set of stainless steel vent window frames

Just look at it as another option, until you hit the lotto. It also might explain why all my spare parts look like NOS. Way too much time on my hands, between COVID and Winter.
