Re: Water pump "studs"
We've had water pumps / fans fail on several tours over the years. Most have been repaired on the spot with spare parts from the cache of parts among tour participants.

Re: Water pump "studs"
Not being all too concerned with originality I use the black round head bolts just like the rest of the engine. I coat them with a thread sealant due to the fact that one of them is a thru hold into...

Re: Dash Panel question
The gauge panel with the oval speedometer was only used up thru mid '30. Late '30 thru '31 end of production used the round speedometer.

Re: Pics for your review/ comment.
Back in the earl '50s, my Dad bought a '31 AA that had only 10K original miles. The vehicle spent most of the time parked all those 20 years. Inspection of the crank showed that the mains were OK,...

Re: Tires
My 550R19 radials fit the fender well better than the 475x19 Firestones did. Ride a whole bunch better as well.

Re: Shocks for a Model A 1930 pickup
When I bought my tube shocks, I was asked what vehicle they were going on. Ken then sent the correct shocks for that vehicle. They have worked great.

Re: Shocks for a Model A 1930 pickup
I have had the shock kit made by Ken Davis on my pickup for a number of years. They are great! Only thing better would be a set of Bill Stipe shocks. That is if you could get over the sticker shock....

Re: Manual wiper
My '31 Bud Cab Pickup came to me with a hand wiper. Of course, it was not correct, as well as the rubber was gone. I replaced it only to discover that it didn't work worth a damn. Eventually replaced...
