422553My 1929 Fordor developed a gas leak at the steering column support. Repairing the tank now. Have read on here about people adding a 1931 support to alleviate the stress on the tank mount.

Thanks for all the input. Just needed to know I wasn't looking at another short cut solution the previous owner had done.

Took about twenty minutes of gentle twisting left to right from within...
