Re: Miller Hi Speed Head Installation.

My brother has two, he love them. When we drove to Colorado for the High Country Tour this summer, 4 of the 6 cars had the new Millers under the hood on new Burtz motors.

Re: Luggage Trunk Bracket

Put a small block of wood (maybe 1/2' thick or 1' thick) running across the back side under the trunk. It'll tilt it outward just slightly and you will be able to open the lid. I have had 3 different...

Re: Going to Pate swap meet

I found quite a few things that I needed. There did seem to be a little bit of everything. Great company and pretty good weather too. I don't remember ever having to wear a jacket before this year.

Re: Cross Country in a Model A

Drove my '30 sedan in my avatar from Fort Worth, TX to Detroit, MI and into Canada before going to the Model A Museum's grand opening in 2013-- then headed back home. It was almost 4,000 miles round...

Re: Chickasha 2023 thoughts??

While I could not attend this swap meet this year, I do feel like threads such as this DETER future attendees as it will show up on a simple google search for anyone who googles "Chickasha Swap...

Re: Modern shocks

They might be hard to see if the sping is in the way (and there are likely bolts already in the holes). I put jackstands under the frame and let the rear end drop down which allowed for more room in...

Re: Stromberg/Webber adapter

How do you do this? I have always had fuel pump issues on one of my cars in particular.

Re: Stromberg/Webber adapter

I would be interested in purchasing this as I carry a stromberg as my spare carb and would be a lot easier to throw this on rather than carry a spare manifold and swap that out.

Re: Stromberg/Webber adapter

I have had multiples of both on my cars--- I will say I do like the weber better. It just seems to run consistently the same. My strombergs seem to run a little different with each tank of gas.

Re: Luggage Rack Extender?

I have those extenders I just placed on my coupe last week with my trunk rack. I have the chrome rack and the wood slats. I just don't like the look of it. I have a black rack I want to replace it...

Re: Remote gas tank and electric pump

I installed a barrel type 12 gallon tank in the rumble seat area of my coupe. Drilled a hole in the floor and ran the gas line up the drivers side (away from exhaust) and then over the transmission...

Re: Teaching my 15YO to drive my A

As a teacher, I can absolutely confirm a lot of the issues with teenagers could be solved if parents were simply willing to spend time with their children. Good job.

Dual Updraft Set Up

Selling a dual updraft set up for a Model A. I bought this out of an old timer’s collection for a coupe I recently purchased. Ended up going with a Weber due to having to use an aux tank which...

Re: Pinto engine conversion

Personally I love the pinto conversions in the Model A's. My parents have a 2.3 with a c4 in a coupe, my brother just got a slant with a 2.3 with a c4, and I am about to put a 2.3 with a c4 in one of...

Re: 3 point seat belts in Fordor car

There is a guy here who has 3 point system in his a400. He runs the "over the shoulder" portion to the rear seat belt where it clicks in there. It's not retractable- but it is a 3 point system. Not...

Re: MAFCA Social Media Page now welcomes Shay Model-As

I don't think it was meant to be a negative... & it's not like he's turning the group into a "shays" group... I just think that he's open minded to allowing Shays to participate in the group. We have...
