I just put the manifolds on. I used Permatex Ultra Copper Silicone RTV and gland rings. Initial torque was 35ft.lbs. and then increased 1ft.lb. at a time. I couldn't make myself go beyond 42. I'm...

In this video, Paul uses Permatex Red RTV Sealant for the manifold gasket. Any of you do this?

I did cringe watching him put 45ft.lbs. on manifold nuts.
