I have some on mine that are nickel over brass that are very heavy. You should be able to see the brass color on the inside somewhere.

I just got a set of rear bumper brackets for a 1929 roadster one of them has the "c" but the other one has "I" clear as anything , I can post a picture in the morning if it is anything of interest ?

Thanks I have a lead on original braces so I will start with them , but looking at photos it looks like I have 31 rear fenders!
