Update, Turns out to be generator is at fault, will need to determine exactly what part.

Mike,
I didn't get insulted, we're good. After 10 years of owning the "A" I still struggle with the positive ground thing, my brain just shorts whenever think about the electrical system.

Thnx for the response.
Correct it is Fun Projects. I followed the instructions and was careful to not to flash or cross the wires.
At idle the amp meter is steady @ "0" rev it up the...

The voltage fluctuates @ above idle. Needle on ammeter bounces back and forth quickly. Could this be a bad regulator (cut out replacement type).

Thnx, Off to the hardware store to pick-up other supplies today, will get a couple of 3/32" split pins and a couple of spares for back up.

Need help installing the pins that go into the spark and throttle levers on the rod ends, let me know tips or techniques that you used to peen over the ends of the pins.

Vintage plates can now be used PA

I just received my new registration card that allows me to use my vintage plate in PA. Way to go PA the process is easy although maybe a little pricey at $75. but my A can ride with the tag that...

Has anyone ever replaced a wheel spoke on a 21" rim?
