You should have a rubber washer between the arm and large knurled nut
this rubber washer is inclosed in metal,, except for the rubber side that rest against the swing arm
i know,,, clear as mud eh

That might be possible.. now that i think of it
it could be a part that attaches to one of the bows to add strength
the parts are right and left

1/4 seems a bit large

Wheel Stud ??
Hi
Im looking for a wheel stud for a Model A Drum about 1/2 inch longer then what we have now
Does anybody know of a longer replacement and where i might buy some

answer i got was the rubber was slippery when wet,, the plates helped us stay shinny side up (i'm bald) and not on our keester

Got my oil pan gasket set today and i'm trying to figure out where the second narrow piece cork goes
I know one seals the rear main end
but i will need some help to figure the other

when i get my new gasket,,, i will keep you posted
im hoping the change to the proper filler cap and installing the drain tube reduces the leak to a drip

a picture of where the crank enters the rear main
hopefully you can see the tiny chip in what i think is Babbitt
it seems the Babbitt also has a crack,, but not noticeable in picture
i can wiggle...

after replacing my oil tube filler cap,,, i still had the leak
in fact,, it was a good stream of oil running out of the cotter pin hole in the flywheel housing ( I THINK )

Oil Leak
I have a bad oil leak that seems to be coming from the bottom of the tranny and also drips off where the wishbone connects
i dont know what caused this but i hear it might be a missing or a tube...
