Thanks Sheldon. Reading David's book at the weekend, the ones like that with the step edge to the stainless are rare.

How intriguing Sheldon, so the one piece stainless outer band has a step edge? Hard to photograph but my ones have a stainless edge much like the normal reproduction inserts as pics below. The grime...

David R - hope you don't mind me putting the below link, covered on the update to David's superb books is the European grill insert with a chromed brass outer band on the two piece construction...
