Re: How do you all test for an intake manifold air leak?

I have tried all of the above methods and the best for me is Blockheads way. No residue, drips, fires.

But unlike Jacks method I would not be caught dead with my wifes hairspray in my tool box! ...

Re: Max Speed of a Model A in Stock Form

Re: Highest Reliable Compression Ratio

I have Snyders 6.1 with new studs, babbitts, stock oiling. No issues other than less advance is needed.

I have done about 5k per year for the last 2 years and would never go back to a stock head.

I have been using Cokers 19" ww radials for a few years.

Re: 1931 Model A Deluxe Roadster

You should move this to the swap meet for sale section.

With a Pinto engine and the condition of the paint and chrome don't expect too much of an offer.

Re: tube question

Instead of talc I found that spaying water mixed with dish detergent and a bag works best.

I then set the tire changer platform on 4 milk crates and then use 3 HF tire changers.

Cluck do not use grease, it will be pushed away from were it needs to be. Use Corn head grease or tractor supply 00 grease.
