Carport or Garages
Does anybody use those metal carports or garages. They say they set them up in one day. If you are using one can you tell me how you like it. Also if anyone has pictures I would appreciate it.

They can't be repaired, and make sure you run 90% antifreeze or it sets up electrelisis and plugs the tubes. Just saying......

This spring, drain the system and refill with 4oz of soluble oil and water run it for a month, drain system put in two gallons of antifreeze rest water. Just a old radiator mans advice...

Anybody else used "water Glass" (Sodium Silicate) on a cracked block in the old days?:confused::confused:

In the old days, we used "Water Glass". Sodium Silicate, you can buy it at a pharmacy. It was an egg preservative. You start up the A, let it warm up good. Then put 4oz of water glass in radiator....

I have a 29 CCPU what length of trailer would be adequate for this. Any ideas. I have a chance to pickup a 15X8. Thanks

or just reverse.... fill crankcase without that extra quart mark, then fill all the way and mark again. Hahhahah Good luck

How I do it on all the cars I've had over the years is fill you crankcase with oil, check dipstick. Mark with file the full mark. Drain out one quart and mark you dipstick again for the add mark....

How does everyone feel about running synthetic oil in their A's. I have been running 30wt. Diesel oil but now see people are talking about running synthetics. I don't think they come in anything but...
