I have a 1946 G six that I removed from a 1/2 ton pickup. The engine is seized. Will sell all or will part out. Parts can be shipped, but the engine must be picked up at my shop in north central...

Re: Columbia axle in 1934 1 1/2 ton truck

GB, According to the article that Fred linked, this axle was made available in '35, so they all would have been full floating. This would have been a kit from Columbia like the ones for the car...

Columbia axle in 1934 1 1/2 ton truck

Re: In defense of 6 cylinders

My Mom and Dad had a '52 station wagon with a 215 six and 3 speed overdrive when I was a kid. I wish I had the car today. Dad scrapped it when they bought a new Ranch Wagon in '66 with a 390.

Re: Info on this truck transmission

I believe that would be from a '39-'47 3/4-1 ton truck. The integral half bell would place it before '48. The rear foot would be correct for a 1 1/2-2 ton truck, but they would have a parking brake...

Re: Gordon & Smith compressor questions Photos Added

Thank you for your reply and complements. After doing a little research I was thinking more like $1500.00-$1750.00. Maybe I am thinking too low?
Thanks again, Mark

Re: ‘51 8RT in ‘47 coupe
