Hi I have what I think is a interesting oil filter for a early flat head. It is complete with all the gaskets and fittings. I included the old cartridge but it can be eliminated. Can anybody identify...

Markdtn when making ridged lines you should make a coil with a few loops to take up any movement .

I think you should remove all that tape clean it thoroughly and apply silicone heavenly around the whole wheel . That's what I had on my Mclaine wheels and they never leaked.

There is a wick that goes to the oil impregnated rear bushing so a couple of drops will do. If you have that nipple out use Teflon tape, it is a pile thread .

Call Fort Wane clutch and Driveline. In Indiana and tell them exactly what you have and they will put a package together with every thing you will need. They are the best .
