Remote starter for model A?

I am playing around under the hood troubleshooting an engine that won't start. Is There any way to hook up some kind of remote starter switch to the old girl?

It would be nice not to need 2 people...

Does the cowl have to be completely disassembled and removed and repainted on a 28 Phaeton to remove the tank??

WellmI guess I will start by taking apart and cleaning the cones and go from there. I was gonna put in some kind of stops, but I didn't want to drill into the stanchions.

Thanks for the tips, I tried checking the voltage of the battery with a digital volt meter and as soon as I touch the GND lead of the meter to the GND post the meter goes crazy.

The ammeter shows discharge when lights are turned on with the engine off so should be ok.

Anyone have any suggestions as to quick ways to verify if the charging system is working?
