The coil is new but don't know anything about the quality of it so definitely worth checking that too.

I don't know who "flatheadmurre" is but I do know of another flathead guy here in Sweden that I can give a phone call, might be the best option.

When it sits for more than a day I need to prime it with some gas to start it, same thing when it has been driven a longer...

My long term plan is to pull the engine and freshen it up with new paint and also replace the cam since the one in it is worn at the fuel pump lobe so I must use an electric...

Lowered the rear a bit, didn't like the slight forward rake it had before.
Also began scrubbing the rust away.

The engine could have been swapped at some point to like a '49 engine.
Just curious since the trans has the same blue color.
