If the water is boiling over, let cool down, don't touch it. Even though its not pressurized it can boil out the top. Also the steam can burn you very quickly.

Try white vinegar, it will work. Block the water outlet, fill the block, let it soak for a week or longer. You will be amazed how well it works.

The radiator shell on my 31 is stainless steel, its 83 years old and no rust! Real stainless steel doesn't rust. There are many different grades of stainless steel. I would guess you have cadmium lug...

I have one of Bills cams and it works great. I bought the one with the cam bearings were 5tho over and had the block cam surface turned to fit the cam.

Just wondering, what type of oil filler cap is on the engine. Has someone stuffed something in the cap to slow the blow by? Are the baffles bent, causing pressure in the crankcase?
