I put a drop of Kano Kroil Penetrating Oil on the top and on the two slots on the hinge, left it to do its magic over night, and the pin popped right out the next morning.

another radiator question

Any suggestions on how best to clean a radiator that is out of the car? My engine is being rebuilt and I’d like to clean the radiator before it goes back into the car.

You will either have to be the Michelangelo of YOM plate painters, or extraordinarily lucky to get away with it. I had to go to two registries to get a 1928 plate in beautiful original condition...
