I was able to use the original tin at the firewall but did buy a new rubber seal from C&G Ford Parts. Having a larger diameter column will work in your favor as the original Ford one will not fit...

The stock 54 power steering is a ram assist. I wanted a fresh box and frankly the ram assist has its problems. Trust me, installing the Borgeson kit is the way to go.
