yes,gas is shooting out air intake,found that head gasket is leaking in a couple places.could that be enough to hender the gas into intake properly? maybe crud stuck underneath valve and is not...

i recently purchased new carb for model a.installed it and it idles fine,when accelerating the carb shoots gas out the back of carb.when adjusting idle screw it doesnt change idle at all.when turning...

thanks for info rotorwrench, i do have compression all around, #1 cylinder is on top of stroke,rotor is at #1 wire, dimple on pulley is way apart from needle, the distributor shaft turns...

cant get anything but backfire out of exhaust and carb.

i set number one cylinder at top of compression stroke,rotor is at number one wire,it backfires but needle and bump on pulley are no where close together.

after bumping over one revolution,number 3 is on exhaust stroke and number 7 is on compression stroke,when marks are aligned

im having timing issues,when aligning bump on pulley to needle for top dead center,the number 3 plug is in compression stroke,the number 1 cylinder is no where near compression or exhaust stroke when...
