Re: Remove window trim?
I don’t know about a Town Sedan, but my ‘29 Tudor had 2 screws under the upholstery (yellow circle). Other than that, it kind of stubbornly snaps in place. As Mike said in post #2, it may need...

Re: A-18478-s manifold heater
I had about a 1 inch gap between the heater and the firewall valve. I put in a piece of aviation SCAT tubing. We took it for a test run and was really happy with the results.

Re: A-18478-s manifold heater
Thanks Old 31. I made a new rod that “hooks” to the manifold, it worked out really well. And bdtutton, you’re right, it smelled pretty bad for a few minutes. Thanks guys.
Merry Christmas

Re: A-18478-s manifold heater
I too am installing the A-18478-S heater. My question is: should the bracket that installs on the manifold stud go between the nut and the thick washer or between the thick washer and the manifold?

Re: How to Post a Picture?
Go to the Barn’s home page, then questions and suggestions. The second post has a link with a really good tutorial on how to post pictures.

Re: Night ride
Hammer, the drive was really fun when there wasn’t other traffic around. Next time, I’ll pick the back roads, not highways.

Night ride
I took my ‘29 Tudor for a drive after dark last night for the (my) first time. I was amazed at all of the other vehicle’s headlight reflections on most of the windows, windshield and inside rear...

Re: lug nut removal
“According to Google”.
The lug that shows up in lug nut or lug wrench doesn't seem to be directly connected. Instead, it comes from a word that meant a projecting part. Originally, it came from...

I’ve used Dupli-Color vinyl and fabric coating on an interior project (not Model A) a few years ago, I was really happy with the results

Re: Drain valve question
That’s a really good idea. There probably is room, but I’d hate to drill a hole through the tank of my brand new radiator. You’ve got me thinking though.

Re: Drain valve question
Posts # 8 and 9 might on to something, thanks guys. I know everyone says, “let it seek it’s own level”. I agree with that, but I want to know where that is.

Re: Drain valve question
All good points:
It isn’t pressurized
Once the level goes below the baffle, I don’t know where it is
I saw the Snyder product, seems a bit pricy
I’ll leave the drain valve in place
It’s an...
