Yeah...thanks for the lesson...anyway, i also felt why attach to the fuel tank if no need to, it fits fine along the crossmember. Whatever floats your boat...

Not original I guess, but I clipped mine along the rear edge of the crossmember. I just didn’t feel good about attaching electrical wiring to a fuel tank....

On the floorboard, center (have to remove front seat) of my ‘34 is the stamping code “CHI” indicating Chicago manufacture location. Is the location of the code the same on a 35?

FWIW i had a similar problem with my ‘34, would puke coolant from the cap and overflow once I hit about 50 mph, no overheating. Installed 180 thermostats in my hoses and that brought it immediately...

Thanks! Yes, it was fun and I learned a lot during the work on it. My first flathead V8 and I have to say Fordbarn was a big help with answers to questions, research and attaining parts as needed....

Thanks! Oh yeah, it stops great with the properly adjusted and rebuilt original mechanical brakes. Of course if they get real hot they do tend to fade bad...

Would the front wheel alignment toe-in spec for a 1934 4 Door Sedan be the same as a Model A?

Plating pot metal is a pain. I have one of the Caswell nickel plating kits, and it needs to be flash copper plated first before nickel plating. It is very labor intensive when prepping pot metal...
