Its all about suspension in the solution, and the amount of anodes you have to one panode (part being cleaned). I have four old truck springs out of my old f450 as the anodes.

UPDATE:

Rear end out of my Woodie is a 4:27. I think Im going to rebuild this one and use it with the overdrive.

A frustrating update!

I checked the intake manifold, and sure enough there was a leak. Problem solved? No! Next chased the distributor again. Cleaned it, new points, and ran all tests. Right...

Sorry for the delay on this. I did the torch trick, and sure enough the intake needed some love. Pulled here off and replained all decks. The issue is worse! I ran another full electrical check...

Ron, I see you are in Vermont! Im also a Vermonter, but sadly now live in Taxachusetts. Cost for one just done was about $4000 all things said and done. hope that helps.

I can usually figure this stuff out quickly. my restoration is stalled until i pull these shafts. Beat the crap out of them again after spraying more penetrating oil. nothing. I'm getting pissed.
