Re: Helmet distributor bushing lubrication

to remove the front bushing tap it 1/2 NC ( I think)and thread in a long bolt or threaded rod, slip a plate with a hole in it over the body and the bolt and then pull the bush out easy.

The bolt and thread are NOT 7/16ths. from memory the new bolt OD is .530 and the thread in the block is the 7/16 helicoil, that is .530 od.

See my reply earlier on how I made my ones, I used the best steel available,an old model A driveshaft for it.

I originally made the main part from 25X 50 RHS but later doubled up on it.
This has towed the caravan aprox 80000 klms around the country on all sorts roads,with no drama,
well...
