Re: 28 brakes
I run '32/34 front brakes on two of my cars. and '35 brakes on the Coupe. All fitted with Ted's floaters. They work well, but the downside is nobody repros the drums.

Re: Steering wheel turns light switch rod
Had a similar problem a few years back - the steering box had been overfilled with grease that had gone most of the way up the inner column causing a certain amount of "stiction" betwixt column and...

Re: Ownership History
For my UK regeistered '30 Fordor I have the original log book which lists all the owners up until the 70's. Better yet - I could have breakfast and drive to the seaside to every address for a quick...

Re: Fumbled a piston
I run a couple of Diamond B engines, still on stock bores with the original pistons. I'd just smooth that chunk out, and take the same out of the others till the weights match...

The paint is a tractor enamel - and the lower picture has a fair smattering of sand and sea salt on it...

Any part numbers on the diaphragm pressure plate? And the thrust bearing if necessary? Trying to source one in the UK.

Re: 3.27 Ring and Pinion
I run a 3.27 under the back of my Coupe. Stock A gearbox, with a tuned B engine. Probably around 70hp or so. Cruising at 55-65 is no problem and I've had no problems climbing hills when we've run...

Re: 3.27 ring and pinion, anyone using one ?

To be honest the gearing is...
