Typical valve noise if you are accelerate at low rpm in 2nd or 3rd gear. I don#t mean the ticking clattering noise at idle that you could hear

I'm not sure but if the gear is the same but If you would use the timing cover of a french 239 engine the shaft length is different to the Load-A-Matic.

I'll use either a of Bubbas distributor or a Petronix. II want to use it in my '52 F1 that is nearly stock. I want just a bit more power so that I can keep up
better on the german Autobahn.

French Flathead Oil pan

I' looking for an oil pan for a 3.9l French Flathead. They are made out of aluminium and have the sump at the rear. I can use as an alternatvie an oil pan from a 59AB.
