Well it was held, and there was interest.
Some great deals, especially a beautiful, complete, 47 or so MG TC that sold for 10 K. I sold nothing, but my finds partially compensated.

1930 coupe: your use of heat on the secondary well did the trick. Even used a propane torch to maybe a Very light orange tinge.
This was a very rusty bottom casting I soaked in derusting for...

Try changing the float valve. Could also be a bad float, or bad threads in the casting for the float valve.

Are you using OEM jets? Reproductions of the main jet, and the cap jet can be the wrong length.

Several times I have had stuck secondary wells that put up a fight.
Not pretty when they stick.
I will try the heat and shock in water.
If the casting has a hairline crack there isn't any good...

There should be a pin that holds the the two parts of the choke driver together. I have seen a cotter pin used to tie these together, if I understand your explanation correctly. A picture would...

It is keyed to the gav. There should be a spring loaded sleeve that keeps the choke rod keyed to the gav.
