Re: Who can repair the fuel sending units

Re: Calling Ol'Ron, calling Ol'Ron...

Your machinist should be able to measure your valve springs for you. You need to determine the spring seat pressure at a specific spring height. That height may or may not require shimming. Any...

Re: Correct replacement for Fram C181-A?

Re: Correct replacement for Fram C181-A?

I'm not sure what Rock Auto would know about the filter, they just stock and sell the parts.

Re: Correct replacement for Fram C181-A?

Re: Putting a roof insert in my 1932 Ford coupe

He was last on the Barn on 12-13-2018. My guess would be he didn't like constructive criticism.

Re: Q7 generator pully

Your photo upload issue is most likely file size, as in the file is over the limit. If you do not know how to reduce the photo files size, I can post the photo for you. Email it to me at...

Re: Crab distributor or ???

Are you attempting to run an original Ford coil on 12v? The 1.5 ohm ballast resistor is what is normally coupled with a 1.5 ohm coil. You need something in the 3.0 to 4.0 ohms total in the circuit. A...

Re: shipping frustration

It is going to depend on the seller. When I print a shipping label I deliver it to the shipper the same day. But, there is nothing to force the seller to do this, about all you can do is read their...

Re: Crab distributor or ???

The distributor doesn't care about the voltage or polarity you are using. The coil is a different story, both matter.

Re: who best to drop 1932 ford axle

I deal with Nostalgia Sid and Okie Joe. Okie Joe does the early axles for Sid (or did last time I talked to them).

Re: What are the advantages of upgrading to Hydraulic Braks

All manufactures upgraded to hydraulic brakes, Ford just lagged behind because of Henry's resistance to change. They tried the cable brakes first for two years. Nothing wrong with keeping a stock...

Re: Rear axle shaft loose, banjo 38

When you go to do the final assembly, be sure the tapered part of both the axle and the drum are spotless clean and dry. The nut on the axle torques down to a very high number. As you most like do...
