It does sound like egr. Chrysler did the same on some 318 engines in the late 70's. They just drilled and tapped a hole into the exhaust crossover for a jet insert. That COMPENSATOR is a pretty cool...

Think maybe 64 or 65 federal requirement. 65 for seat belts, 69 for 3 point belts 66 for reverse lamps. All Mustangs come with a mirror and belts. My 58 Ford had no mirror outside. Someone please...

The car was heavy, engine small and a ridicules high rear end gears with an automatic, 2.65 or some thing like that. Had a 332 4v and cruise o matic. Slow in town agree.

Good deal, I had that transmission in a 76 F250, last I knew the truck went in my friends estate auction. It was used pretty hard sometimes but never gave any trouble.

DONALDSON closed it plant here and sent it to Mexico 20 years ago. Maybe different filter plants for other needs.
