Re: Station wagon wood
'ctinin',
Feeling your pain... You might try a plastic credit card to scrape off the blistered varnish. When the card edge becomes dull, cut a fresh edge with a scissor.
If the varnished...

Re: Body alignment-Sport Coupe
Bob,
I'd wish Happy New Year but I'm not convinced yet.
You lost me talking about changing rear bumper bars. I'll assume you have all the correct body blocks & rubbers in the correct places.

Re: Model A Beltline Variations?
Just to muddy things further, 30-31 coupe & roadster fenders are considered the same, probably with the same tail lamp mounting holes.
When pin striping a roadster I can get my hand around &...

Re: Nitrocellulose
Perfect example for voting carefully..

Better chance finding acrylic lacquer.

Thanks Mike.
I have that list from the original source and have made a spray out of their Mountain Brown. Compared to my original 1929 chip, kinda like home plate & out field.
While brown...

Re: 'Mountain Brown'
RC,
As you might know Mountain Brown with Thorne Brown was a late (offered in October) 1929 body color combination. PPG does not list a paint code for Mountain Brown and since browns in general...
