Re: stage fright with my 34 jalopy
When I had a T, I had the opposite problem; when trying to demonstrate how to start the Model T to people, the bloody thing would always start as soon as I turned the ignition key on, repeatedly! It...

Re: Inner Tubes for Radials?
When using the air gun to blow the beads in, don't give it a continuous burst, rather a puff, puff, puff, suddenly they'll all just disappear into the tube!

Re: Inner Tubes for Radials?
Yoyo, It's been a while since I did it; I've had zero issues since, so I am unable to tell you how much I put in, however the website told me. The filling is the fun part; I followed the instructions...

Re: 1935 5 window coupe radio speaker holder
Years ago, a fellow 35 owner, approached me, wanting to buy my header speaker housing. What I did instead of selling it to him, was lend it to him in order he could use it to make a mould to...

Re: Inner Tubes for Radials?
I've run radials on Kelsey Hayes wires on my 35 since the mid 80's. Because of the construction of these wheels, I've had to run tubes. The problem with 'radial tubes' is that they have a smaller...

Re: 59 Camshaft oiling
I dunno; I tend to be a bit anal, but whenever I get a camshaft reground, I, or the camgrinder, needs to put a centre in the nose of the cam in order for him/her to be able to grind the new...

Re: What clutch would you use?
Sorry, I can't really add much about Auburn clutches...there is plenty of info circulating on the 'net. The late, great Rumbleseat raved about them, so I tried one, and I am sold on them. They are...

Re: What clutch would you use?
A bit off topic, but an old hotrodders trick was to use an Auburn clutch. I use 9" Auburn clutches in all my builds, they will not slip: [I have backed up a 284 with one with no issues], and they are...
