I'm hoping someone has a picture showing how the Front Seat Back Rest SPRING is installed in a 1930 DeLuxe Fordor Blindback ! Anyone?

burner31 Your are absolutely right when working on the Closed Cars! I just recently had mine out for a complete rebuild on the whole steering column in my Fordor including a New Steering wheel!

burner31 I always thought that if you have a convertible all that needs to be done is disconnect the light switch at the bottom of column, remove the "C" clip at bottom of rod and pull out the rod. ...

jw hash - Why do you say "the front half looks to a Victoria" because of the two hinge doors on this car. Reason I ask is I have never heard that distinction.

Why not use two "EYE" bolts into the spark plug holes with a short chain from one to the other and than attached to the lift? I did remove and installed mine in this way WITH transmission attached.
